Amateur Astronomer

Julius beneath his beloved sky...
Here's Julius, who I went out to meet at an observing session at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. He's an avid amateur astronomer, who teaches astronomy to his students at New York Institute of Technology, in addition to teaching them mathematics.

We rode back into Manhattan on the subway together, and he told me a little about his passion for the night sky.

If you'd like to see what he has to say, read his interview at Overlooked New York.
